I put together and installed this fan in a short time, and the instructions were very clear. I ran into one minor difficulty, in that the factory-installed wires to the terminal block were too far in, blocking the incoming wires I needed to install. This merely meant that I had to loosen those terminals and back out the wires to make room. The rest of the connections are plug-ins that only fit one way. The actual assembly is simple, and the results are aesthetically pleasing. If I need another fan of this type, this is what I’ll look for.

Purchased 3 of these 42 inch fans place in the bedrooms for a renovation on my home. Installation was pretty simple. Came with reversible blades, black on one side and a light brown “wood” tone on the other. I opted for the black side as it’s timeless and classy, imo. I am not well versed with electrical work but I figured it out. The light is bright and the air this thing produces is great! It’s also very quiet and doesn’t wiggle or shake. Pretty sturdy. My only complaint is that the down rod was too long which was probably my mistake for not double checking but I didn’t see anywhere the length of the down rod. I have 8 ft ceilings so the 12 inch rod it came with was way too long. Had to purchase shorter down rods to make it work. Besides that I am happy with this purchase and hope they will last awhile.

Unfortunately, I think this is being sent back. I love almost everything about this except the controller doesn’t work well. There is almost always a delay on the light control and sometimes it doesn’t work at all.Too bad because it’s a nice design despite the challenges hanging it noted by other reviews (it doesn’t seem designed to hang from a standard US junction box so you have to mess with it a bit).I also wish the “warm 3000K” light setting was a touch warmer, but it’s not bad. Great task light for a kitchen area.

The media could not be loaded.
I liked it for the first week then the light dimmed out and it won’t brighten. I paid for installation and now I’m thinking I’m going to try a phone call to trouble shoot. Hopefully, I won’t have to pay to uninstall/return/then pay again to reinstall!! I will update this.
