I had previously purchased 3 of these ceiling fan/lights for low ceilings. They are perfect for this to provide light and a little air flow/circulation. Do not buy for high air flow or you will be disappointed. However of the original 3 one would flicker badly when first turn on and occasionally through out time on which was very aggravating. I thought it was just electrical connections as in old house, however it continued after tightening all wire fittings. I finally decided to purchase a new replacement fan. The over all look matches original, however the remote layout is different and the control box in fan is white compared to black on previous units. I assume this is an upgraded or improved version. It now beeps when turning on and no longer flickers. I am happy with my purchase but not happy that I basically had to purchase 2 fans for same location in less than 6 months. The fan/light is attractive and gives a nice farm house look. As long as it does not flicker any longer I am happy with our purchase as price was very reasonable.This type of caged ceiling fan/light is great for low ceilings and everyone can now walk under safely with out hitting, and it will help circulate some air but you will have to stand directly under fan to feel air movement.

Instructions were a little wonky, but it was pretty easy to install if you have some common sense. Very nice looking and throws a decent amount of air. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy.

I am pretty good at changing out lights and fans, but can’t get this one to work. When I hooked it up and turned on the breaker, the light came on but won’t turn off. The fan wont work. Tried new batteries in the remote still won’t work, going to try a couple more things before I give up and return it.Update,, contacted the company and they figured that the remote was bad, did not have another remote so they sent me a whole new ceiling fan free of charge, it works great and I am very happy with it. Need new light bulbs, the ones I got are to bright, the fan is very quiet. Second update, the remote seems to be eating up batteries, I am on my third set. thinking its constantly looking for signal to the fan, fan stays running, but cant turn the light on and off without puting new batteries in

Just installed this light/fan yesterday in my kitchen. I really like the looks of it. Seems to be made well. The fan is very quiet.The only issue I have with it, is that it’s really hard for one person to install. Also, make sure you have a long Phillips head screwdriver.

I installed this ceiling fan for our master bathroom. Goes great with our southwest theme. It is mounted on a 10 foot ceiling. Decent air flow when underneath it. Air movement decreases significantly about a 4 foot radius from it. It is as loud as an oscillating fan once on. It took about 2.5 hours to install: 1) the fan was difficult to twist onto the ceiling-mounted base, 2) the 4 screws in the kit to secure the fan onto the base once on is a joke. Using a 1 foot magnetized Phillips didn’t help. Using our son’s tiny hands to try and put them in didn’t work, either. After the husband said many 4 letter words and was pouring sweat, I ended up using wood screws to secure it since they have a taper to pilot them in. No light bulbs come with the kit, which I knew and is fine. Screwing them in was a bit of an ergonomic chore as well.

I TRIED THIS IN MY BATHROOM THAT GETS VERY WARM IN SUMMER. THE AIRFLOW WASN’T GOOD FOR THE LARGER ROOM SO I PUT IT IN MY LAUNDRY ROOM. IT’S PERFECT FOR THE SMALL ROOM SINCE IT IS RIGHT OVERHEAD WHERE I STAND TO FOLD LAUNDRY. IT LOOKS NICE AND THE LIGHT IS BRIGHT.

Looks good, low profile and smaller fan still generates air flow. If you have installed ceiling fan before, it’s very straight forward, if you haven’t, instructions are useless.It doesn’t come with bulbs and the ones recommended are too big, so getting bulbs that fit will be the hardest part.If you use light switch, it will turn lights and fan off and when you use switch to turn back on, only lights will turn on, have to use remote to turn fan back on.Overall, it seems like good purchase.

Don’t use wire nuts. We love these fans. NOW, if you use wire nuts you will almost NEVER get it mounted. It will make you discouraged and doubting the product. Wires are suppose to mount to the white connector on mounting plate. If you look closely there are letters that correspond to the letters on the wires. Find an installation video thru the manufacturer on line. I did. Do your research 1st. Enjoy.
