I purchased this for my cleaning company. The reviews I read were really good. In my opinion, it has amazing suction. It does become less intense when the bags are nearly full, but that makes sense with any bagged vacuum. I would it takes a while for the bag to fill up with general domestic use. However for commercial use, it takes less time to fill up. The hose will occasionally, if you are left handed, hit the power switch and turn the machine off. The attachments for the hose and wand can be tricky to get on, but once it is done several times you get a feel for it. The attachments do not fit in every portion of the wand. For instance, the upholstery att. will not fit into the most upward pipe, but it will fit into the hose, and the lower pipe with the secure swivel end. High Pile carpets and rugs are challenging for this vacuum. The backward side to side motion really only works on bare floor, or low pile carpet. Instead, for High Pile, you have to pull, lift place, and pull again. It picks up a lot of things with ease, due to great suction, but you will occasionally suck up a cord or unwanted items that will get lodged into the floor attachment. The bare floor attachment needs to be cleaned, by hand frequently. The cord is long, which can create knots and binds, taking some time to release. However, the length of the cable means you do not need to unplug as often. You can walk from room to room, and if it get wedged between something a gentle(or rough) tug will fix it.All in all, I prefer this vacuum for cleaning homes and offices. It is versatile, dependable, and well made. I highly recommend it to those with back or neck issues, or those who need to cover a large space in a short amount of time.

I’ve been in the professional cleaning business for 23 years and have tried many vacuums and I can tell you… They are not all created equal.Pro TEAM has done a incredible job with this vacuum. It is the go to vacuum for my cleaning technicians even though we have other backpack and canister vacuums. Most of the work we do is cleaning up after fires, removing odor and restoring our clients home and personal items like before the fire. As you can imagine we work them hard and they just keep going. We use the hepa filters in all of them (4 vacuums) and we don’t seem to have any dust blowing out.Now the positives:*they are very light when wearing them all day. Sometimes we have to crawl in the attic to clean and they are light and allow for good movement in tight spaces.*they have really great suction for the size. They are not as strong as the larger vacuums however more enough power that it easily performs all the tasks we us it for.*the design is much better then the round models. It molds to your back. Well designed.* very durable. We have not had any problems with them running. (One vacuum we sucked up water by accident and it makes noise now but that was our fault.).Cons:Really the only problem we have had with this vacuum is when we vacuum heavy dust ( like fire extinguisher dust) it will over heat and shut down until it cools off. With normal use this has never happened.I would definitely recommend this vacuum for anyone looking for a light weight professional vacuum.

I am altering my review after Customer Service helped me fix it. They were very responsive and patient. For anyone with this same issue it helps to tap the nut at the end against something, that allowed me to finally get it unscrewed. It can really get stuck quickly and it can be confusing in that moment which way it needs to be turned so I drew an arrow above the nut for which way to loosen it.I then had issues with getting the smaller tools to attach to the want and they helped me trouble shoot that too. The indent ring closest to the brush part (for instance) is the one that is supposed to catch the metal nut ring on the inside of the end of the wand. We found that once the nut was completely tight I needed to lift the brush tool very slightly to get it to line up right for the metal ring to drop into it and then I could tighten it just a bit more so that it would stay in place.Easy once it was figured out.I’d recommend that Proteam adds a video showing this and for troubleshooting this because, while its ability to tighten during use is great!, it can be a real source of frustration and wasted time when one wants to swap tools:)Old Review:The Vacuum has excellent suction and I love the ability to wear it instead of dragging it behind me. However! the end of the wand that is supposed to fit the floor and carpet parts does NOT loosen as it is supposed to so I can’t use it or the floor parts. I can only used the hand held attachments that attach to the flexible hose directly. The nut at the end of the wand literally does not move at all, it is completely locked into place. Very disappointing.

Finding a good vaccum seems like an impossible task. Owning a home with lots of stairs, only lament flooring, and pups that shed I had high hopes for this product and the decent reviews. I’ve tried all kinds and just never felt satisfied, leading me to try this. The real disappointment was from the hose breaking at the connection point upon first use and proteams customer service not accepting responsibility on a faulty product. For such an expensive product, I opted to keep the vacuum and replace the hose myself to continue using. The two piece wand is fine but a telescoping wand would be more efficient as the two piece is bulky on the stairs. Im 5’6 and the wand is basically as big as me. Easy on/off switch and good suction. Once I have the pack on its easy to use and I can cover lots of floor quickly but it’s bulking to get set up. I have one closet to store my cleaning supplies, so it all has to disassemble to store in there. Having the bags to empty the canister and not having to reach my hand in to a canister to scoop out the dust/hair is great, but one can get a bagged vaccum from a competitor for cheaper that would perform just the same

The harness for this is great. It’s more ergonomic than the 3 quart model. I don’t like the hose attachment that I got with it. It doesn’t have the L shape where it attaches to the vacuum, but rather just a straigh tip. It is also larger and difficult to attach to the vacuum. I just grabbed the better hose from my 3 quart model. The weight is fine. The full clip closure is better than the swing up or screw shut. Overall if I maintain good posture and were my mirrored glasses to help prevent from bending my neck down to look at the floor, then I have no musculoskeletal pain after work.I deduct 1 star because again these seemed to be designed for XXL people. I have to sinch all straps as tight as they will go and even that isn’t enough for the shoulder straps and chest strap. I’m 5’8″ 165 pounds and the straps barely fit. It is also very poor design to have the attachments on the hip straps to be set almost on the back of your hips. There is no way to remove and replace on the belt with ease while wearing the vacuum. It takes less time for me to remove the back vac and put the attachments on the belt instead of doing so on the go. The attachment loops should sit more forward.

The good: Item arrived at a decent time considering I live in Alaska. Suction has some power. The cord length is long enough. Having a backpack version did allow me to operate with both hands. The Bad: unboxing I found the item looked like it was just thrown into the box without proper packaging. Like they were in a hurry to get it out the door or something. Because of that, one of the metal hose connectors has a dent in it. I was not expecting this. As a high dollar item you’d think there would be some foam or things to keep everything jumbling around in the box. This doesn’t seem transition friendly. Like if I want to use other attachments, I have to take the time to unplug the power nozzle and then figure out where on the connector stick to disconnect and use a smaller attachment. The plug portion on the handle had to be held(see pic) as it was in the way. It would be great if there was a place for that small cord to clip into when not in use.The elastic bands on the right of the waist belt were a little difficult for me to reach and wasn’t easy to put the attachment away after use. It seems after enough uses, the smaller attachments would break or crack at its ends since they don’t really have a hole for the little button to lock into. You have to jam the attachment on. That and the little attachment I did use fell off three times. The little brush was disappointing as I use that type of brush off my Shark nv501 for stairs. The bristles on Proteam’s smallest attachment are very soft, whereas my shark’s is pretty stiff so I feel like it gets into the carpet pile better. So did not use the smallest brush for the stairs. The attachemnt where the brush slides off, slid off when used. The cord: didn’t have much patience for the cord. There’s nowhere to place it on the vac once it’s wrapped up and needing to store. I don’t really see myself having to wrap that much cord each time unless there was a proper way to store it. It’d be nice if there was some type of hook on the canister for this. I was also constantly trying to keep the cord away from my feet to not trip and also stepped on it multiple times.Didn’t like the plastic hose attached behind my head. I move around a lot. I felt it would have done better on one side or the other. The Ugly: Now the nozzle…I’m thinking the power nozzle is not made for piled carpet. I had high expectations for this part. I had a home to do with a big cream carpeted area that needed done. This home has two dogs that shed black hair often. Throughout the entire time, hair was pushed back every time I went forward with the nozzle! (See video) It’d be nice if the nozzle’s floor height could be adjusted. Maybe it’s not meant for residential use. It did fine on non carpeted areas. THEN!! I think because the large area I had to do is piled carpet, the nozzle seemed to have overheated. Is that possible? I stopped multiple times checking the bag to see if it was full(it was not and even emptied it anyway to be sure-didn’t bring another bag). I ended up using my clients vacuum to finish the big area. Use of the nozzle on the stairs was awkward. The nozzle had time to cool as I used the clients vac for the big area..so I was able to try the nozzle on the stairs..I still had to remove the nozzle to use the stick to get into the crease of the carpeted stairs, so had to go thru process of unplugging the nozzle.Overall, 2 out of 5 stars from me. This just isn’t my type of equipment. Maybe the proteam 6 is better in an office or more janitorial type setting. I wanted to love it, but it’s not as efficient as I thought it would be, and for the money you have to shell out for it, to e packaging was very lacking.

I own a cleaning business and I’ve had this vacuum less than a year and it has caught on fire twice while being used, catching the persons hair on fire the first time. It was repaired the first time from a place the company made me take it to interesting to find out that they have serviced over a dozen of these models for the same exact issue. I didn’t have it back for a whole month and the same part ignited again while being worn and used. I asked for a refund and they are refusing I was told by Proteam/Emerson to try and get Amazon to refund my money to me since I purchased the unit through them ?????? They said they would have it picked up,which has now changed to a shipping label making me do more leg work, and have their engineering team investigate it if there’s a real issue I will receive a new unit of no issue found they will repair it and ship it back. I will NEVER purchase anything from proteam/Emerson again.
