I ordered this for my new sewing room, the fan puts out a good amount of air flow, I am not sure what others were talking about when said that it didn’t put out much! It was easy to install not a cranky word out of my husbands mouth when installing it! nice update for the room and puts out much more light than my previous fan, that being said it’s still not a huge amount of light but I will also have several lamp lights in the room. I just really like a WELL lit room especially when doing intricate things like sewing and scrapbooking. The remote control is not a problem the light comes on by switch it’s just the fan that needs to be remote controlled.It looks great, and will be well used!

This came with a remote and we adhered it to the wall next to the light switch and it acts as the light switch- if you’d prefer or can be utilized when laying in the bed and not wanting to move. The fan is quite quiet when in use- even at high speed. Bought another one after the first purchase for my other son’s room because we loved it so much! Great value and style for the price. Really like this, when it works. The lights flicker and there is a lag in the remote. It takes a while to turn off if it even does. But I like that it helps circulate the swamp cooler in our large living roomUpdateThe seller has been very professional in helping me to resolve the issue. I don’t have bulbs yet but I love these fans. I have it on low speed in my bedroom and I honestly can’t hear it running. I have an Iowa cottage in a rural setting and the farm style fits right in. The style reminds me of egg baskets used to college eggs. I never liked big fan blades spinning over head while I lay in bed. My rooms are very small and I’m impressed with how much air movement this fan provides.

Ran fine in one direction, ran 2-3 minutes in the other direction, then shut down.I took the fan all the way back down, checked the wiring in the ceiling, everything looked good.Reconnected the fan, re-installed it, same result. The direction blowing down was the one shutting off. No doubt in my mind that the internal motor connection was wrong. I worked in an electric motor shop for more than 25 years beforer retiring, it happens.No refund yet, the manufacturer may be trying to block it!

Easy to install if you know basic of fixture and electric. In my kids rooms I just mounted the remote next to the switch and remind them to not mess with the switch. You could just take the switch out and put a blank plate over to keep power on.
