This fan was absolutely beautiful. We are in the process of painting/updating our living area, so we bought this fan because of its more modern feel and the different capabilities it had with the remote control it came with. We unboxed it and installed the fan, however the ceiling fan light globe was broken during shipment. We contacted Hykolity about the broken globe, and they took care of it! They were extremely quick to respond to our concerns, and great to work with, despite the broken globe. The fan works great, and it has so many great options on the remote, including reversing the direction of the blades, dimming and brightening the LED light, and a timer for how long it stays on. Excellent product and excellent company!

Overall fan function and appearance is good. However, many buyers of ceiling fans today want/need to use a longer downrod than the 6” typically provided due to high or sloped ceilings. If you’re one of those buyers, this fan wiring will only allow use of the provided 6” downrod (or an optional 8”) without modification to the attached wiring harnesses (one for fan wires and one for light kit wires) that connect to the remote controller receiver. I also found that the light dimming feature on the remote does not appear to have any affect on the unit…only the on/off light control works on mine. Again, fan looks good and functions well. Quality appears to be good which made installation (using the provided 6” downrod) very easy for anyone with even basic DIY skills. Unit arrived unscathed by shipping and was extremely well packaged.

So, the only two drawbacks are 1) The light is a proprietary light module that plugs in 2) it’s a yellow hue on the LEDs instead of a white hue.That said, the install was easy, only hard to hard wire to the wireless module and ground, the fan and light plug into the module. To reverse the fan for summer / winter, it’s built into the remote. The fan speed even on medium to low settings is great, you can feel it move air. The light dimmer works well. The timer can automatically turn the fan off.In addition, it’s well balanced and quiet even on medium settings. The only reason you can hear it on high is it’s moving so much air. All in all, super happy with this.

Had this fan for just a week, but we’re really enjoying it so far! Not too bad to put together, and it definitely moves some air! We typically just have it on 2, but there’s up to 6 speeds. I think the light is pretty bright, so we don’t use it. We have a lot of natural light and prefer lamps at night. Great purchase and looks great too!

I bought two of these. Installation is a bit of a challenge on a vaulted ceiling due to the design of how the remote transmitter needs to fit into the ceiling bracket. That aside, one fan is quiet, the other is noisy; it doesn’t have a hum like many fans, but rather a cyclical low rumbling sound. The fan seems to be balanced, so I don’t know how to correct it. It’s very unacceptable. The fan itself is very attractive. So I’m batting .500 which in baseball is great, but in fans not so.

Our AC has been trying to go out the past two summers but we don’t have the money to replace it. We have replaced parts on it prolonging the inevitable. As a solution we have changed both of our ceiling fans in the kitchen and living room. Immediately we felt the difference! The fans produced a lot of cold air, were easy to install, and look great! I love that it comes with a remote control that I can turn the light on and off without getting up. I could change the speed of the fan as well to produce a little air or a lot. I will definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a new ceiling fan to cool their home!

Whatever you do, ignore the instruction to “remove the SAFETY pin and save”. If you remove the safety pin, that means the entire weight of the fan is held up by the two set screws on the shaft. Your fan will eventually fall off of the ceiling. Whoever wrote the instructions and/or reviewed the instructions should be fired. The company should send a recall notice to all customers who bought this fan.Other than that, the instructions are written so that you are assembling the entire fan while it is hanging. This is unnecessarily difficult. Before hanging it up, mount the fan blade arms, the light kit, and install all but one of the blades. Then hang it up, complete the wiring, assemble the cover, and at the end install the last fan blade.Like seemingly all Chinese companies, the instructions are full of English errors and calling “Lock Washers” “Hex Nuts”.We were also disappointed to find that the colors of the fan blades did not match the colors of the larger 66″ version of this fan by the same company.Ignoring that the fan will fall from the ceiling and possibly kill you, the fan itself seems to be well made.
