We had a very thick wool rug, that some would say was very nice, but I’m over the thick rugs that I can never get clean. I want the thin, non skid rugs that can go in the washer.I used to have a smaller, 20 year old washing machine and didn’t understand how these could be called machine washable. But I have a more modern top loading washer now and it’s easy to toss a big rug in there after the dog poops on it.I got the ‘blue’ version and it’s a very light tinted rug. It will brighten up the room. My pictures make the print look more sharp than it is in person. In real life, it’s more like a traditional rug.I’m so happy I can get rid of the old, dust and dirt filled rug and brighten the house with this!

‘Soft’ can mean a lot of things. I think the word ‘smooth’ best describes the texture of this rug. Touching it is like stroking very short but very soft thick hair. There is no significant depth of pile, but the material is very pleasant to the bare foot.The pattern would have been popular sixty years ago, which paradoxically means the look is right up to date!
